The KBL Wide-Surface Stand is a Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic 380mm x 330mm x 20mm flat Laminate Board stand which requires external illumination when an extended work surface is needed. This Ergonomic stand can accommodate large circuit boards or animal surgery which requires a wide surface area. Equipped with an integral FX focusing holder which has a illuminator port mount to accommodate a versatile LED illuminator (MA264/LED) or any fiber optic light option. The F coarse focus block/holder is a focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth and precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Its coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies. The KBL Stand is a great complement to our Stereo microscopes due to the focus block’s ability to be easily raised vertically to accommodate different sample heights or special applications. A 5” (100mm) extension pillar for the threaded vertical post is also available if needed to accommodate taller specimens (MA551).
